“Our Blues” Lee Byung-hun, “I was sad that ‘HERE’ fell through so I asked writer Noh Hee-kyung for another work”
Actor Lee Byung-hun appeared at the press conference for “Our Blues” and talked about some behind-the-scenes stories of the drama production.
The press conference for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Our Blues” was held online on the afternoon of April 7th.
On this day, Lee Byung-hun told a behind-the-scenes story of how the cast joined “Our Blues”, saying, “I was preparing for a work called ‘HERE’ with writer Noh Hee-kyung and the actors here, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the work fell through. At the time of announcing the failure of the project, I jokingly asked the writer, ‘Have you been writing anything else?’. I think the writer had been worried a lot about that. She then rewrote the work and kept the same cast”.
Lee Byung-hun added, “I’m very satisfied because I had always been thinking that I wanted to work with writer Noh Hee-kyung one day, and I think it’s not easy to be able to work with such great actors”, revealing his feelings.
When asked, “Was you preparing any other work at that time?”, writer Noh Hee-kyung replied, “There was no other work for real”.
“Our Blues”, which aims to cheer for all lives knowing that sometimes life is too pressured and needs support, will premiere on April 9th.
