OMEGA X “Put up with unfair treatments”… “3 million won in pocket” after working for a year and a half

OMEGA X strongly insisted on terminating the contract, emphasizing that the trust relationship collapsed. They also mentioned various unfair treatments received from the agency.

On the afternoon of Dec 7th, the Seoul Eastern District Court’s Civil Affairs Division 21 held the first questioning in the lawsuit for the suspension of OMEGA X‘s exclusive contract validity.

In order to contend for the suspension of the exclusive contract, the part about settlement and unfair treatment was pointed out. Omega X conducted a total of 17 and 18 shows (overseas tour) for about a month, but did not receive any profits. In response, Spire Entertainment’s legal representative explained, “There was no profit from the album, and the tour’s revenue has yet to be settled.“

So far, all the money the members have received is part of the initial down payment. Member Jaehan explained the down payment as “about 3 million won including tax“. In response, Spire Entertainment’s legal representative explained that they made an advanced payment in the concept of paying 100 million won instead to terminate the members’ contracts with former agencies.

Regarding this, the court said, “(Creditors) don’t have a contract. You should know for yourself what rights you can claim.“
