On July 3, Oh Yoon-ah‘s YouTube channel Oh! Yoon-ah uploaded a video titled “Oh Yoon-ah’s New Beginning | Oh! Yoon-ah TEASER EP.00.”

In the video, Oh Yoon-ah personally revealed the news, saying, “I’m getting married.”

She became emotional as she recalled the encouragement she had received from her subscribers. “Many of you have always supported me,” she said. “So many people told me they hoped I would meet a good partner and live happily.” As she reflected on those heartfelt messages, she broke down in tears.

Oh Yoon-ah explained that she had long hesitated to remarry because her son had always been her top priority. “For a long time, I raised my child on my own, and he was always the most important person in my life. I didn’t want him to feel like he was a burden to anyone,” she shared. “I had convinced myself that Min and I would spend the rest of our lives together, but then I met someone truly wonderful.”

She revealed that one of the biggest reasons she gained confidence in the relationship was the kindness shown by her future in-laws. “His parents are such wonderful people. They accepted Min as if he were their own grandson,” she said. “That isn’t something that happens easily. It made me realize this kind of connection could only happen if it was truly meant to be.” She added, “Whenever I prayed during difficult times, circumstances kept bringing us back together. We continued meeting over and over, and eventually I thought, ‘Maybe this is the person.’”

The actress also expressed her gratitude toward her fiancé. “Because my future husband is not a public figure, I wanted to be careful about announcing our marriage,” she explained. “He accepted my son naturally and wholeheartedly, doing everything he could within his own capacity. Thanks to that, we were able to build a family in a very natural way.”

Although the couple decided to marry some time ago, she admitted that she struggled with when and how to share the news publicly. “I spent a long time thinking about how to tell everyone. I didn’t want it to feel like I was boasting about happy news. I wanted to share it carefully and sincerely,” she said. “That’s why I wanted my subscribers to hear it first through YouTube.”

Oh Yoon-ah concluded by reassuring fans that marriage would not change who she is. “Getting married doesn’t mean I’ll become a different person. I’ll continue living my life and working hard just as I always have,” she said. “The only difference is that a wonderful change has come into our lives. I hope you’ll continue to watch over us warmly and support us in the future.”
