Earlier, the members have responded to various questions about their comeback since February, saying “We’re preparing hard for it”, “I’m writing song lyrics”, “I just worked on the chorus and returned home”, etc.

Oh My Girl debuted in 2016 as a group of 8 members, including Hyojung, Seunghee, JinE, Mimi, YooA, Yubin, Jiho and Arin. Later in 2017, Oh My Girl became a seven-member group after JinE’s withdrawal due to health problems.

After competing on Mnet’s “Queendom” in 2019, the girl group released hit songs, such as “Nonstop” and “Dolphin”, and gained several remarkable achievements, such as ranking No.7 on Billboard’s “Best K-pop Albums of 2020”, entering Melon’s annual chart for two consecutive years (2020 & 2021) as well as winning Top 10 award at the 2020 MMA (Melon Music Awards), Bonsang Digital Song of the Year at the 35th Golden Disc Awards (2021), Bonsang Digital Song of the Year at the 36th Golden Disc Awards (2022), and Best Performance at the 2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards.

After then, YooA promoted her solo album, Arin appeared in tvN’s drama “The Alchemy of Souls”, while Seunghee starred in KBS’s “Oasis”. Mimi is currently a regular member of tvN’s entertainment program “Earth Arcade 2”. Yubin and Hyojung also showed up on entertainment shows and carried out various individual activities.
