After 1 year and 2 months of Oh My Girl’s changing from a 7-member to a 6-member lineup, a comeback is in the work.

With this, Oh My Girl is finally making a group return, a year and four months after the release of their second full-length album, “Real Love”, in March last year. It has also been one year and two months since Oh My Girl reorganized from a 7-member group to a 6-member group.

Meanwhile, Oh My Girl debuted in 2015 as an 8-member group consisting of Hyojung, Seunghee, JinE, Mimi, YooA, Yubin, Jiho, and Arin. However, in 2017, JinE withdrew from the team due to health issues, and Oh My Girl continued their activities as a 7-member group.

After becoming a 7-member group, Oh My Girl gained recognition with songs like “Nonstop” and “Dolphin”, which they released after appearing on Mnet’s “Queendom” in 2019. They achieved consecutive Melon yearly chart records in 2020 and 2021, received awards such as the TOP 10 at the 2020 Melon Music Awards, the digital song award at the 2021 35th Golden Disc Awards, and the digital song award at the 2022 36th Golden Disc Awards.

Following the release of their second full-length album, “Real Love”, in March last year, Oh My Girl went through a reorganization in May of the same year. In particular, Jiho left the group, resulting in a 6-member lineup.

Meanwhile, Arin appeared in the tvN drama “Alchemy of Souls”, and is expected to appear in the upcoming tvN short drama series “O’PENing 2023” in the segment “Summer Love Machine Blues” (literal translation).
