OH MY GIRL’s long-awaited full-group comeback has officially been pushed back to next year.
On June 22, the group’s agency, WM Entertainment, released an official statement through its social media accounts, apologizing to fans for the lack of updates regarding OH MY GIRL’s group activities and concerts during the first half of the year. The company also confirmed that the group’s full-member comeback has been postponed until 2027.
The agency explained, “All six members share the same commitment to continuing together as OH MY GIRL. However, during the album production process, it took longer than expected to gather and carefully select music that would meet our standards. As a result, we determined that it would be difficult to proceed according to the original schedule.”

WM Entertainment continued, “We sincerely apologize for not providing clear guidance to fans during this process, which caused confusion. We deeply regret not communicating more transparently.”
The company emphasized that the members value their relationship with fans above all else and are working hard to present their best selves.
“The members cherish every opportunity to meet their fans and want to show the most proud and polished version of OH MY GIRL,” the statement read. “They are currently preparing a new album as a group. Since this marks a long-awaited return, they are focusing on creating music and performances of the highest quality. The goal is now to release the album in the first half of next year.”

The agency added that both the company and the artists will do their utmost to reward fans’ patience with a stronger and more refined comeback.
WM Entertainment also revealed plans for individual member activities later this year.
“Solo album promotions by the members are scheduled for the second half of this year,” the company stated. “We ask for your continued support and warm encouragement as OH MY GIRL and their fans continue this journey together.”
In addition, the agency announced measures to compensate fans affected by the delayed comeback. The validity period of the “OH MY GIRL GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB Miracle 6th Membership,” which was originally set to expire on March 18, 2027, will be extended so that fans can continue enjoying their membership benefits without inconvenience.

The statement concluded with another apology to fans, saying, “We sincerely regret making fans wait for such a long time. Moving forward, we promise to communicate more responsibly and promptly in order to rebuild trust.”
OH MY GIRL, now a six-member girl group with more than a decade in the industry, previously announced plans for a full-group comeback centered around a new album and concert activities earlier this year. Fans will now have to wait a little longer, but the group promises the delay will result in a more complete and memorable return.
