Nominated for Daesang but absent from the awards ceremony, Song Hye-kyo revealed her current status, drawing netizens’ attention
The recent photos posted by actress Song Hye-kyo are attracting keen attention.
Song Hye-kyo uploaded several photos on her Instagram Story on the 31st of last month and wrote “Happy New Year”.
In the pictures, Song Hye-kyo was doing some affectionate poses with her dog in a place that looked like her house. Even in close-up shots, Song Hye-kyo still drew admiration for her charming beauty.
In particular, Song Hye-kyo was nominated for the Daesang (grand prize) at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards held on the same day. However, she didn’t attend the awards ceremony, making fans curious.
At the awards ceremony broadcast that day, MC Shin Dong-yeop introduced Kim So-yeon, Lee Je-hoon, and Honey Lee and said, “Only 3 actors showed up, but there is actually one more nominee for the Daesang”. In the end, the Daesang was awarded to Kim So-yeon.
On January 1st, Song Hye-kyo posted photos to congratulate the actors, who are appearing in the drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” with her, on their awards.
She shared a photo of Park Hyo-joo receiving Best Supporting Actress at SBS Drama Awards and said, “You’re so beautiful. Congratulations! Love you”. She also dedicated a post to congratulate actor Kim Joo-heon as he won the Excellence Award, saying, “Brother~ Congratulations!”.
In 2016, Song Hye-kyo won the Daesang at KBS Drama Awards for her role in “Descendants of the Sun”. Returning to the small screen after 2 years, she is starring in SBS’s drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up”.
