NMIXX guested on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope”.
NMIXX (Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin) appeared on the broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope”, which aired on September 29th, and introduced their new album.
On the broadcast, DJ Kim Shin-young asked, “I saw many people call NMIXX as ‘a group of live singing geniuses’. Who is the best live singing genius acknowledged by the members?”. In response, Jiwoo said, “I think all members are good at singing live, but Lily unnie is the person who can do it perfectly even with high notes. I was very surprised because she has been that excellent since trainee days”. Other members altogether agreed, “We really got goosebumps”.
Kim Shin-young continued, “StayC’s Isa said she watched the video of Lily on Lee Mu-jin’s Youtube channel and found Lily’s Busan dialect cute. Didn’t Lily grow up in Australia? When did you learn dialect?”. Lily responded, “I didn’t even know that I spoke in dialect but I heard people telling me that recently. I’ve been practicing with people who use dialect since I was a trainee so I might have been naturally influenced by them”.
In addition, Kim Shin-young congratulated NMIXX on the release of their second album “ENTWURF”. When asked, “What language is the title ‘ENTWURF’?”, NMIXX said, “It’s German. We used Latin last time, and this time, it’s a single album with a German name”.
Kim Shin-young then said, “Although the album has a difficult name, its record is very good”, adding “You achieved the highest record of first-day album sales. Did the members know this news?”. Haewon replied, “We were told that the number exceeded the sales volume of the previous album. It was amazing and we were very happy”.
Kim Shin-young asked, “You sold over 400,000 copies in the first week. Do your acquaintances buy the album and ask you to sign on their CDs?”. Haewon said, “That’s right. My sister said her friends really like me so they sent me some of my photocards to have me sign on them”.
Bae added, “I also received a lot of requests from my father’s friends in his cycling club and I signed for them”, drawing laughter. Jiwoo said, “My friends at school even bought the album and asked me to sign for them. I felt very thankful”, expressing her gratitude.
Meanwhile, MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope” airs every day from 12 p.m to 2 p.m.
