The title track is ‘Supernatural,’ a New Jack Swing style song. It samples ad-libs and the bridge from Pharrell Williams’ 2009 collaboration with Japanese singer Manami, ‘Back Off My Mind.’

NewJeans expressed their affection for the song. “It’s a track you can’t escape once you hear it. The intro and Pharrell Williams’ ad-libs are intense, and the synth sounds and beats are incredibly exciting.”

They also hinted at their performance. The members said, “We thought it was important to feel like we’re all playing together. We focused on synchronizing with the dancers,” and added, “We hope the viewers will enjoy it too.”

The track ‘Right Now’ has already been pre-released with a music video. It features soft vocals contrasting with a fast beat. NewJeans explained, “It highlights our coolness and mature charm.”

Earlier that day, NewJeans appeared live on Fuji TV’s ‘Mezamashi TV’ and performed ‘Supernatural’ for the first time, delivering vibrant energy with their lively steps and free-spirited grooves.

NewJeans will also appear on Fuji TV’s ‘Mezamashi 8’ and TV Asahi’s ‘Music Station’ on the same day. Starting with Nihon TV’s ‘with MUSIC’ on the 22nd, they will perform on major local music shows like TBS’s ‘Music Day 2024’ on the 13th of the next month.

They will also hold a fan meeting at Tokyo Dome on the 26th and 27th. They have prepared a setlist of over 20 songs, including the double single ‘How Sweet,’ four songs from their Japan debut single, 12 previously released songs, and special solo stages.
