On November 12, ADOR released an official statement confirming that members Haerin and Hyein expressed their intention to continue their activities under ADOR. The agency stated, “After thorough discussions with their families, both members have decided to respect the court’s ruling and abide by their exclusive contracts. ADOR will fully support their smooth return to activities.”

Shortly afterward, members Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also announced their decision to return. The three members shared, “After careful consideration, we have decided to resume activities with ADOR. One member was unable to respond immediately due to being abroad, but we are united in our decision. We will continue to meet fans with sincere music and performances.”

ADOR responded briefly, saying it was “verifying the authenticity of the members’ intentions,” but given the agency’s previous stance in welcoming their return, the group’s full comeback to ADOR appears to be confirmed.

This development also raises new questions about the future relationship between Min Hee-jin and NewJeans. Following her dismissal from ADOR last year, Min had been engaged in a series of legal disputes with both ADOR and HYBE, arguing that her removal was unjust and that her absence had damaged the trust between the group and the company.

While fans speculated about a potential reconciliation, the possibility seems slim. Min Hee-jin recently established her own agency, OOAK Entertainment, in October and continues her legal battle with HYBE and ADOR. Reports indicate that ADOR has already begun preparing NewJeans’ first full-length album with a team of prominent international producers, signaling the company’s intent to move forward without her involvement.

As the group prepares to resume full-scale activities, attention now turns to how NewJeans will redefine their artistic direction under ADOR’s management and whether Min Hee-jin’s influence will continue to shape their identity from afar.
