“NewJeans’ Mom” Min Hee-jin Awarded Presidential Commendation for Her Contribution to K-pop Global Success
CEO Min Hee-jin of ADOR, NewJeans’ management label, has been recognized for her outstanding contribution
On December 13th, ADOR announced that CEO Min Hee-jin received the Presidential Commendation in the Overseas Market Expansion category at the 2023 Republic of Korea Content Awards held at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and hosted by the Korea Content Promotion Institute.
CEO Min Hee-jin, as the overall producer of NewJeans under ADOR, was acknowledged for presenting a new paradigm in K-pop and elevating the status of K-pop.
Under Min Hee-jin’s strategic production, NewJeans achieved success globally, including making it to Billboard Hot 100 within six months of debut.
CEO Min Hee-jin expressed her gratitude, “I am thankful for receiving the Presidential Commendation in the Overseas Market Expansion category. I will do my best to show better performances with NewJeans and ADOR in the future. Thank you.”
