NewJeans’ Hyein, as Louis Vuitton ambassador, was chosen as the newest cover star of Harper’s Bazaar, becoming the youngest Korean model to do so.
Harper’s Bazaar Korea unveiled the May issue cover featuring Hyein’s unique aura on April 17th. This photoshoot was part of Hyein’s activities as an ambassador for the luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
In both versions of the cover, Hyein shows off an alluring aura as she stares into the camera, exuding a mysterious charm. Her distinctive features and captivating gaze leave a lasting impression.
The photoshoot took place in a traditional Korean house. The serene beauty of the hanok and the futuristic mood of Louis Vuitton blended together to create an unusual atmosphere. The shoot was also filled with green tones, capturing Hyein’s freshness.
Hyein said, “I talk to my members the most. They are all kind-hearted people who empathize with each other in their own ways.“
She went on to explain, “Danielle actively expresses her sympathy for what I say, and Haerin notices when I look sad or down and approaches me first to ask if I’m okay.“
Hyein described Hanni as a delicate and warm person, and Minji as someone who takes care of her like a real sister, saying “she has a truly mature personality in my opinion.“
Meanwhile, NewJeans released a collaboration song “Zero” with Coca-Cola on April 3rd. In addition to their existing hit songs like “Ditto,” “OMG,” and “Hype boy,” the commercial song “Zero” also topped the real-time charts of major domestic music platforms, receiving a lot of love.
