As of the afternoon of December 1, the social media accounts operated under the NJZ name are now inactive. These accounts had been used by the five members of NewJeans during their legal dispute with ADOR over the termination of their exclusive contracts.

During the conflict, the group temporarily rebranded themselves as NJZ and used the account to engage with fans independently of ADOR. Notably, the members’ parents also used the platform to release official statements during the height of the dispute.

However, following the group’s public decision to return to ADOR, the NJZ account appears to have fulfilled its purpose and has now been discarded.

The five NewJeans members lost the first trial in a lawsuit filed by ADOR seeking confirmation of their exclusive contract’s validity. None of the members filed an appeal, effectively ending the legal battle.

Youngest members Hyein and Haerin were the first to confirm their return to ADOR through mutual discussions. Later, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also announced, “We’ve decided to return to ADOR.”

ADOR welcomed their return, stating they would continue individual discussions with each member including those who made the decision unilaterally as part of a standard reintegration process.

With the NJZ account now deactivated, fans see it as a symbolic closure of a turbulent chapter in NewJeans’ journey, marking a new beginning under the agency where they originally debuted.
