On December 29, ADOR officially announced that while Hanni has been approved to return to the agency and Minji remains in negotiations, Danielle’s exclusive contract had been terminated. The agency alleged that Danielle violated her contract by signing another agreement, participating in independent entertainment activities, and damaging the group’s credibility.
“We requested corrective action regarding this matter, but as no action was taken within the designated deadline, the contract has been terminated,” ADOR stated.

With her future at ADOR effectively closed, a viral theory has emerged online suggesting that Danielle may soon join THE BLACK LABEL, the subsidiary label led by producer Teddy.
The speculation stems from Danielle’s recent public appearances alongside actor Park Bo Gum and musician Sean, particularly through their involvement in a well-known running group and charitable activities such as briquette volunteer work.
Netizens were quick to draw parallels to Im Si Wan, who reportedly joined THE BLACK LABEL after being part of the same running group.
“Danielle looks very likely to go to THE BLACK LABEL, considering Im Si Wan also ended up there after running with that group,” one viral post on Instiz claimed.

Others pointed out that luxury brands previously associated with Danielle, such as Omega and Celine, have since shifted attention toward Park Bo Gum. Some netizens also alleged that THE BLACK LABEL staff members have been discreetly supporting Danielle during joint volunteer events.
On October 5, Sean posted on social media, “Early morning running. Danielle woke up a little earlier than usual to join. While running together, we talked about all sorts of things—including a bundle of stories about the fans we’re thankful for. Let’s keep running healthy and prepare well for the upcoming 10km race.”
This isn’t the first time Danielle has been spotted running with Sean. Previously, Sean uploaded a selfie with Danielle and actor Park Bo Gum, writing: “Unknown Crew morning run. The early bird catches the worm. Bo Gum and Danielle both started their day early, finding small happiness in the morning—it was so admirable. Wishing Bo Gum safe fan meetings in the Philippines and Thailand, and cheering Danielle on for her first 10km race.”
Danielle and Park Bo Gum are part of Sean’s running crew Unknown Crew, where the three regularly meet for early jogs as part of a health-focused lifestyle. Sean even coined a playful sub-unit name, Bo-Da-Sean, combining their names.

This wouldn’t be the first time a HYBE-affiliated idol transitioned to THE BLACK LABEL. ALLDAY PROJECT’s Youngseo was previously part of ILLIT’s debut lineup before leaving and re-debuting under the label’s co-ed project.
As the theory gained traction, online reactions were mixed.
Some netizens dismissed the speculation, arguing that THE BLACK LABEL is currently focused on promoting its own artists and has already debuted multiple groups this year. Others questioned the label’s financial priorities, while some joked that such a move would spark years of legal battles over alleged contract tampering.
“There’s no way Teddy doesn’t have money,” one comment read, while another added, “If this is true, it’ll be nonstop lawsuits.”
As of now, neither Danielle nor THE BLACK LABEL has commented on the rumors. With legal disputes still unfolding and emotions running high among fans, Danielle’s next move remains uncertain—but industry watchers agree that wherever she lands, the decision will have major implications for the future of NewJeans and the broader K-pop landscape.
