On March 25, ADOR announced via Weverse that it would extend the group’s global fanclub membership. Existing “Bunnies Membership” holders will automatically receive a 365-day extension, added to their remaining subscription period.

However, the timing of the announcement quickly drew criticism from fans, as it came just one day after a key court development involving member Danielle. Fans expressed frustration that ADOR chose to highlight membership benefits while major unresolved issues remain.

Danielle is currently involved in a legal dispute with the agency, while the status of Minji remains unclear. There has also been little to no official update regarding Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein.

Online reactions ranged from disappointment to outright anger. Some fans accused ADOR of avoiding transparency and failing to address ongoing concerns. “It’s been months of uncertainty, and there’s still no proper announcement. Why focus on memberships instead of resolving the real issues?” one fan wrote.

Another added, “You’re extending memberships, but not giving any real updates. Fans want clarity about all five members.”

Korean fans, in particular, also criticized the agency for what they described as misplaced priorities, arguing that the group’s future and contract disputes should take precedence over membership-related announcements.

Beyond anger, a growing number of fans expressed anger and unease about the group’s future. With legal disputes ongoing and no clear roadmap for activities or comeback plans, uncertainty continues to surround NewJeans.
