New K-drama by “The Penthouse” writer confirmed cast line up, from Lee Ji Ah, Lee Sang Yoon, to Bong Tae Gyu
Lee Ji Ah, Lee Sang Yoon, Bong Tae Gyu, and other cast members have begun filming for tvN’s upcoming drama “Lady”
tvN’s upcoming K-drama “Lady” (creator Kim Soon Ok, Director Choi Young Hoon, script writer Hyun Min, production Green Snake Media), will depict the fierce survival story of a woman who must rise to the position of first lady to protect her beloved family. This woman will come face to face with the truth of her completely forgotten past, while setting up a desperate revenge to punish those who took control of her own destiny and take it into her own hand.
Expectations are high for the K-drama, which is handled by director Choi Young Hoon, who showed his sensuous directing in “One The Woman’ and “Good Casting”. In addition, it is created by the famous screenwriter Kim Soon Ok, who is behind highly successful works like “The Penthouse”, “The Last Empress”, and “Temptation of Wife”, which all became major sensations across the Korean small screen. In addition, this is Kim Soon Ok’s first collaboration with tvN, rousing anticipations.
In “Lady”, Lee Ji Ah will assume the role of Hong Tae Ra, whose husband is running for president, making her a first lady candidate. Park Ki Woong plays the role of Jang Do Jin,a competitive person who enjoys betting every moment. He becomes best friends with Jae Hyun, who has, since college days, constantly stimulated his fighting spirit and awakened the bitter taste of defeat for the first time.
Finally, Bong Tae Gyu adds to the fun of the drama with his role as Goo Goo Chan, a hacker-like geek who is the head of Haechi’s research center. With persistence as a weapon, he frantically clings to research of the “smart patch”, which is the core technology of Haechi.
Goo Chan, Jaehyun, and Do Jin, together formed the “Three Musketeers” during college.
