As IVE’s Wonyoung has left the show, this female idol will be the special MC for this week’s Music Bank.
On January 18th, the official SNS account of New Jeans posted a notice about the group’s pre-recording and Minji’s special MC appearance for Music Bank.
IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who previously worked as a regular MC of Music Bank, recently stepped down from her role after a year and 4 months. She MC-ed for the last time on the January 13th live broadcast.
In Jang Wonyoung’s last broadcast, actor Lee Chaemin, her co-MC, and the “Music Bank” crew gave her a trophy and a bouquet of flowers, expressing regret.
Jang Wonyoung said while tearing up, “Thank you so much. I am so grateful to be with ‘Music Bank’ for a year and 4 months. It has been a happy memory for me too. Thank you to all the PDs, artists, and Chae Min for always brightening up Fridays.”
