From December 12th to 25th, a global vote was conducted through Ten Asia’s voting service by dividing the artists into the top ten K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND, and HOT GENRE BRAND categories.
As a result of the voting, Secret Number ranked 1st place in December’s K-POP GIRL BRAND category, followed by NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, IU, IVE, BLACKPINK, Kep1er, and Girls’ Generation.
The rankings of Secret Number, NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, IU, IVE, BLACKPINK, Kep1er, and Girls’ Generation were applied with 30% media index, 10% Google Trend Index, and 60% global popular vote by fans through Ten Asia voting service.
As for the candidate criteria, K-POP BOY and K-POP GIRL BRAND are ranked in the Top 30 of male and female idol groups and solos on the current month’s Melon chart. HOT GENRE BRAND is ranked in the top 30 of the month among domestic groups and solo artists who have entered the Melon chart and Idol Champ monthly charts.
