Netizens Show Mixed Reactions To ‘Pantless’ Fashion Trend Favored By Moon Ga-young & Rosé

On February 29th, Rosé uploaded several photos on her SNS with the caption “Last night. Thank you for having me at your beautiful show in Paris”.
The released pictures show Rosé showcasing her beauty in the pantless look. This is a fashion trend in which people wear lingerie and micro pants to make it look like they’re not wearing any pants outside.
Earlier on the 25th, Rosé left Korea to attend the 2024 F/W Fashion Show with Saint Laurent. Inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s iconic style, the brand introduced a collection of clothes that look bold yet feminine.
It is true that Korean stars who were invited to Paris fashion shows like Rosé and Moon Ga-young have faced mixed responses for their excessive exposure when trying the pantless look.
While some commented, “No matter how popular you are, the outfits have gone too far from the Korean sentiment”, others argued, “It’s not a normal outfit, it’s the clothes from a fashion collection”. Many people also agreed with the opinion, saying “Most of their fans are teenagers, right? So the clothes are quite sensitive. I think idols should think about the exposure level when appearing in public”.
Meanwhile, Rosé recently uploaded her solo song “vampirehollie” on her SNS account in celebration of her birthday as a gift for fans and asked fans to recommend a fandom name.
Rosé will continue doing BLACKPINK activities under YG Entertainment as the group already extended their group contract with the agency in December last year. However, she did not sign any additional contract for individual activities.
