On March 15, reports surfaced in Korean media claiming that Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol were having a date in Hawaii. Ryu Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend Hyeri wasted no time, posting a photo with the caption “Now that’s interesting,” causing a controversy.
True to her outspoken nature, Han So Hee didn’t just sit back and let it slide. The actress posted a meme of a dog and denied her involvement. Initially, this garnered praise from fans, who saw it as a clever way to hit back at Hyeri’s comment. But on March 16, Han So Hee suddenly confirmed her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol and penned an apology to Hyeri.
Han So Hee revealed that Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri had broken up in the first half of 2023, with news of their split hitting the media in November of the same year. She stressed that she and Ryu Jun Yeol had only started dating earlier this year, after he had become single.
According to Han So Hee, she and Ryu Jun Yeol met at the actor’s photo exhibition through a mutual friend who happens to be a photographer. She admitted to losing her cool for a moment and acting rudely upon seeing herself dragged into baseless rumors. Han So Hee assured that she would personally apologize to Hyeri.
Han So Hee’s attempt at mocking Hyeri has backfired, leading Han So Hee to hurriedly delete her Instagram story. The actress has become a target of criticism on social media, with many labeling her as “two-faced”.
