Netizens praise the thing that “Hunt” actors secretly did for a cancer patient

The actors of “Hunt” reportedly delivered supportive words to a cancer patient who was about to undergo surgery.

On August 30th, a netizen posted article titled “Ahead of my cancer surgery, I was cheered up by actors Lee Jung-jae, Jung Woo-sung, Jung Man-sik, and Heo Sung-tae” on Nate Pann.

The netizen said, “I reserved a ticket for the stage greeting of the movie ‘Hunt’, which was held at a theater near my house on Sunday, August 29th. While looking around the event with an exciting look, actor Jung Man-sik called me out. I confessed that I got cancer while filming a video with the actors. I was so touched when they comforted me.”

They continued, “After going back to my seat, I checked my cell phone and found out that there was no video. Seems like I forgot to press the recording button. I made a post on Instagram expressing my regret and then received a DM from ‘Hunt’ promotion team and actor Jung Man-sik. The four actors recorded a video with the message ‘We feel very sorry, so we’re sending another video to you’.”

Lastly, the netizen said, “I’m very scared since I’ve been diagnosed with cancer for the second time. But thanks to the actors, I was able to overcome my first time. Thank you so much. I hope my surgery will go well”.

Hunt” is a spy action movie that tells about agents Park Pyeong-ho and Kim Jung-do, who have to suspect each other to find the hidden spy in their agency, facing a huge incident called “Korea’s First Assassination Operation”. Lee Jung-jae made headlines even before the official release as he was revealed to be in charge of script writing, directing, acting, and producing the movie. Based on the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on August 30th, “Hunt”, which premiered on August 10th, has attracted 3.8 million moviegoers so far.
