Netflix “Physical: 100” male cast suspected of threatening his ex-lover with self-harm actions

A red light has been turned on for “Physical: 100” as controversies over the cast are arising one after another.

While a female cast member was previously accused of school violence, this time a male cast is suspected of threatening to harm himself.

On February 20th, Sports Seoul exclusively reported that A, a male dancer and former ballerino who is appearing on “Physical: 100”, was sent to the prosecution on charges of threatening his ex-girlfriend.

According to the report, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station sent A to the prosecution on charges of threatening in November last year.

The police decided the charge as “threatening” for the investigation, saying “We decided to send him to the prosecution judging that the victim was scared by the act of self-harm action”.

According to Sports Seoul, A is accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend with his self-harm actions. In particular, when A’s ex-girlfriend said she wanted to break up with him, A reportedly punched his face several times and hit his head on the desk and wall, threatening her to give up the breakup decision and continue dating him.

An acquaintance of A’s ex-girlfriend B explained to the media, saying “B started dating A around September 2021 and they broke up in early May last year”, adding “In the process of breaking up with A, B was threatened by A’s self-harm actions several times and suffered mental pain”.

Meanwhile, “Physical: 100” is a Netflix original program about an extreme survival game played by 100 people who think they are the strongest. It has been airing since January 24th.
