NCT Mark, “The most challenging experience in my singing career was appearing on ‘High School Rapper’”

NCT Mark picked his appearance on “High School Rapper” as the most difficult challenge in his career as a singer.

On April 24th, W Korea released the “W Marble Interview” video featuring NCT member Mark on its official Youtube channel.

In the video, Mark received the question that asked “What was the most interesting episode during the recordings?”. In response, he said, “When I recorded my second solo song ‘Golden Hour’, I was very shocked that I didn’t have much time and had to record it at dawn. But I couldn’t finish it within a day because my throat hurt and I was so tired. It eventually took me two days to complete the recording.”

When asked, “What was the most difficult challenge in your career so far?”, the NCT member said, “Definitely when I appeared on ‘High School Rapper’. It was the most challenging moment in my life but also a fun experience.”

Mark participated in “High School Rapper” in 2017 as a contestant and finished in 7th place.

In a previous fanmeeting, Mark once confessed, “When I get burnt out, I drink with the members to relieve stress.” 

In response to the question, “What conversations do you usually have with the members while drinking?”, he said, “Whenever I drink with Johnny and Doyoung, our talks keep going on. The conversations never end and they even buy more beer. They are very nice members.”
