Girl group BLACKPINK proved their huge influence as this year’s Coachella Festival headliner.
On April 24th, NetBase Quid analyzed figures on social and news media then released the ‘TOP 10 Artists Mentioned on Social Media During Coachella 2023’ via its Twitter account.
According to the list, headliner BLACKPINK was named 1st place as the whole group. The four members of BLACKPINK, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo, took No.2 to No.5 in that exact order.
By sweeping the TOP5 most influential artists at one of the world’s biggest music festivals, BLACKPINK once again certified their reputation as a global girl group.
BLACKPINK is followed by Jackson Wang (GOT7), another K-pop artist, in 6th place.
Other performers who gained many mentions during the Coachella Festival are rapper YG, singers Becky G, Billie Eilish, and Camila Cabello, ranking from No.7 to No.10.
