Actor Namkoong Min will reveal why he still watches the video of his marriage proposal to his wife Jin Ah Reum.
Namkoong Min, who recently announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child after four years of marriage, will appear on KBS2’s Problem Child in House on July 10 at 10:20 p.m.
During the episode, Namkoong Min opens up about his love story with Jin Ah Reum, whom he married after dating for eight years, drawing plenty of attention. According to the actor, their relationship began while working together on a film that he personally directed.
Namkoong Min confessed that he fell for Jin Ah Reum because of her kind and pure personality and spent two months actively expressing his feelings after filming ended. However, Jin Ah Reum turned down his very first confession. Viewers will be able to find out exactly what Namkoong Min said when he confessed and why she rejected him in the broadcast.
The actor also shared behind-the-scenes stories about the proposal video that once went viral on social media. Namkoong Min recalled, “Ever since I was young, I watched so many foreign movies that I believed a proper proposal had to involve kneeling down and presenting a ring.” He went on to reveal that whenever he and his wife go through an awkward period, he finds himself watching the proposal video again. The reason why he revisits the memorable footage whenever the couple experiences a cold war has sparked curiosity.
Namkoong Min also expressed his affection for his wife by saying, “I often buy her clothes and handbags.” He added that he used to enjoy shopping for himself as well but surprised everyone by declaring, “Until last year, I spent a lot on myself, but starting this year, I’ve been holding back.”
