Namkoong Min Expresses Feelings After ‘My Dearest’ Ended, “I Was Loved More Than I Thought”

Actor Namkoong Min confessed his feelings about completing MBC’s Fri-Sat drama “My Dearest”

Namkoong Min appeared in “My Dearest” as Lee Jang-hyun and portrayed a character who dedicates everything to the woman he loves in the tragedy of war. The drama ended on November 18th.

With “My Dearest”, Namkoong Min created a syndrome and ranked 1st place on the popularity charts. He impressed the small screen viewers by showcasing an outstanding performance with his excellent acting skills.

On the morning of November 19th, Namkoong Min revealed his thoughts after wrapping up the drama through his agency 935 Entertainment. He said, “I was able to spend a long time making such a good drama with good people. It was very meaningful and I really appreciate that time.”

The actor added, “I hope all the viewers of ‘My Dearest’ have had a happy time and many enjoyable memories with our drama.”

Revealing that the most memorable line to him was Jang-hyun’s line, “I must hug you. You must have felt so painful”, when comforting Gil-chae (Ahn Eun-jin) after she talks about her wounds. The actor said, “I already felt emotional and warmhearted when I read the line after receiving the script”, adding “I thought a lot about how to express it and I acted with the hope that it would comfort those who are suffering a difficult and tiring time. It’s the most memorable line to me, and I could feel Jang-hyun’s sincerity well”.

Namkoong Min continued, “I poured a lot of worries and effort into this drama and I think I received much more love than I thought. That’s why I was able to finish it warmly until the end.”

Lastly, he said, “I would like to thank all the viewers who have sympathized and loved Jang-hyun’s story. I will return with a better performance and a better appearance in my next project.”
