“My Happy End” Drops Teaser Heralding Jang Na-ra & Son Ho-jun Couple Reunion With Bloody Story
TV Chosun’s new weekend mini-series “My Happy End” unveiled the second teaser
TV Chosun has recently released two teaser videos, official posters, and still cuts of the new drama “My Happy End” starring Jang Na-ra and Son Ho-joon. Following KBS’s 2017 drama “Go Back Couple”, this is the second time Jang Na-ra and Son Ho-joon acted as a couple.
“My Happy End” is a human psychological thriller in which a woman, who has only been pursuing success, confronts the shocking truth resulting from the betrayal of people she believed in.
In this drama, Jang Na-ra plays Seo Jae-won, a self-made CEO of a popular home furniture brand named Drev and an influencer with millions of followers. Growing up in a poor family, she worked tirelessly to overcome adversity and achieve her dream while developing desires. Thought to have succeeded in work, love, and family, Seo Jae-won suddenly faces the shocking revelation of a hidden secret of people who have been by her side for a long time. Discovering the hidden truth, she desperately struggles to find the truth.
Son Ho-joon will appear as Heo Soon-young, a freelance designer and professor of industrial design. He’s a devoted husband to Seo Jae-won and a caring father to their daughter Heo Ah-rin (Choi Min-yul). This character is compassionate, easy-going, and gentle. That’s why he rarely gets angry. Even when opportunities for personal development come, he gives up on them to prioritize his family and sacrifices everything for his wife and daughter.
Regarding this new drama, Son Ho-joon said, “I became more attracted by the script after knowing Jang Na-ra would participate in it”, adding “We worked together before so I believed that we could do better this time. You can find the charm of my character in his ordinary appearance. If you watch the drama from your own perspective, you may have different interpretations for the same scene. Therefore, I recommend you watch the drama several times.”
In addition to Jang Na-ra and Son Ho-joon, the drama also stars So Yi-hyun, Lee Ki-taek, Kim Hong-pa, Park Ho-san, and Kim Myung-soo. “My Happy End” will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on December 30th.
