“My Dearest” to release special episodes during main broadcast suspension 

The production team of “My Dearest” announces changes in broadcasting schedules.

On September 1st, MBC’s Fri-Sat drama “My Dearest” announced that the broadcast of episode 10 will last for 90 minutes. After airing episode 10 on the 2nd, “My Deareast” will wrap up Part 1. As such, the duration of episode 10, which marks the grand finale of Part 1, has been increased to 90 minutes.

“My Dearest” production team also confirmed that there would be “My Dearest – Rewind Film” and “My Dearest – TV Movie” with 1-2 parts in addition to the longer episode 10. 

In particular, “My Dearest – Rewind Film” will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 8th, and “My Dearest – TV Movie” will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 15th and 16th. Each broadcast is expected to be 75 minutes long.

Especially, “My Dearest – TV Movie” raises fans’ expectations as it includes unreleased scenes that were not shown in the official broadcasts.

After releasing all the special episodes, “My Dearest” will continue with Part 2 starting next month. As a result, the broadcast of “My Dearest” main episodes will be suspended temporarily for about a month.

Starring Nam Goong Min and Ahn Eun Jin, “My Dearest” depicts the romance of lovers during the Qing invasion of Joseon and the vitality of people in war. The drama is maintaining its popularity as the No.1 Fri-Sat drama at the moment. 

Thanks to viewers’ huge love and interest, “My Dearest” surpassed other dramas and has recorded double-digit ratings two times in a row. 

Meanwhile, episode 9, which is scheduled for the 1st, will show Lee Jang Hyun (Nam Goong Min) returning to Hanyang. Attention is focused on the reunion of Lee Jang Hyun and Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin).
