Disney+’s “Moving” and Netflix’s “The Glory” have been nominated for Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards
This year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will begin on the 4th and end on the 13th. It is known that BIFF has decided to hold a large-scale awards ceremony for OTT content due to its growing influence in the past years.

The existing Asia Contents Awards will expand its stage and become Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards.
The awards ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on October 8th at the outdoor theater of Haeundae Film Center in Busan and give awards to a total of 17 categories after adding 5 new categories to the 12 existing ones.
Therefore, attention for this year’s awards ceremony is focused on Disney+’s original series “Moving”, which recently aroused huge global popularity.

Among OTT contents around the world, “Moving” was nominated for major categories, such as Best Creative, Best Lead Actor (Ryu Seung-ryong), and Best Newcomer Actor/Actress (Lee Jung-ha & Go Yoon-jung).
Netflix’s original series “The Glory” also received nominations. Apart from Best Creative, there is a high possibility that it will win Best Actress (Song Hye-kyo) and Best Supporting Actress (Lim Ji-yeon).

In addition, SEVENTEEN member Moon Jun-hui (Jun), who appeared in iQiyi’s Chinese drama “Exclusive Fairytale”, is also expected to compete with “Moving” Lee Jung-ha for Best Newcomer Actor.
BIFF has also introduced various OTT contents with its expansion. A total of six series will be staged in the “On Screen” section and five of them are Korean dramas, certifying the global influence of K–dramas.
In addition, Han Hyo-joo, one of the main characters of “Moving”, will greet the audience through “Actors House” at KNN Theater in Haeundae, Busan at 7 p.m. on October 5th.
