Moon So Ri shared behind-the-scenes details about her exposed armpit hair at an award ceremony in 2021.
On May 29th, a video with actress Moon So Ri was posted to the YouTube channel of fashion magazine Harper’s BAZAAR Korea.
Moon So Ri talked about the outfits she wore when she appeared on the red carpet for various works. Regarding the black dress she wore at the 19th Busan International Film Festival in 2014, Moon So Ri said, “Among the dresses I have worn, if I had to choose three favorite dresses, it would be one of them. It suited me well.“
She also named the black dress she wore at the 2018 Baeksang Arts Awards as her favorite dress. Moon So Ri said, “I felt happier than ever that day. My husband received an award for the movie ‘1987,’ and it was a movie that gave me strength as well, so I felt even happier. I like that kind of look.“
Regarding the sleeveless jumpsuit she wore at the 2021 Blue Dragon Film Awards when she won the Best Actress award for the movie “Three Sisters,” Moon So Ri explained, “There was a photo of me raising my hand. While setting up, someone asked me to fix my armpit hair. I said, ‘I don’t have much, so why fix it? I won’t raise my hand anyway. Will there ever be a situation like that?‘ But when people greeted me, I raised my hand.”
She laughed and said, “At that time, the related search term ‘Moon So Ri armpit hair’ appeared. I really don’t have much. But I don’t know how much it was magnified. The people who noticed that must be really interested in me.”
