Moon Seo-jin, the sister of ALLDAY PROJECT member Annie, made a surprise appearance during a broadcast of SBS’s variety program My Grumpy Manager on November 28, delighting fans with her striking resemblance to her sister.
The episode highlighted actor Lee Seo-jin supporting the “monster rookie” members of ALLDAY PROJECT. Annie, who is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairperson Lee Myung-hee and daughter of Jeong Yoo-kyung, drew attention for her high-profile family background.
Lee Seo-jin shared his long-standing connection with the family: “I’ve known Annie’s mom since elementary school and her dad since high school. I’ve known Annie since she was born. It’s great to see her doing so well.” Annie confirmed the closeness, saying, “He’s been very close to my parents, so I’ve known him since I was little.”
The actor also revealed the origin of his forehead scar, amusing viewers. Annie explained, “He got it at our house. He fell off the sofa while sleeping.” Lee Seo-jin recalled, “Her mom was on a business trip, so her dad and I were drinking. I went to sleep, and in the morning he asked, ‘Why is your face like this?’ It turned out I was bleeding. Annie even said, ‘Oh, there’s blood.’”
Lee Seo-jin praised Annie’s father for his knowledge and shared interests: “He plays guitar like my favorite band guitarist and even gave me the same model. Meeting him is always fun because he knows so much.”
As the members’ makeup sessions wrapped up, Lee Seo-jin and fellow actor Kim Kwang-kyu became increasingly busy managing the group. Lee Seo-jin joked, “Taking care of five kids feels like having 2 sons and 3 daughters for a day. I’m glad I didn’t have kids myself.”
The highlight of the episode came with a surprise video call from Annie’s sister, Moon Seo-jin, currently residing in New York. She impressed fans with her resemblance to Annie. Lee Seo-jin warmly greeted her: “Seo-jin has changed a lot! Aren’t you graduating next year?” Moon Seo-jin replied sweetly, “Uncle Seo-jin, see you next time.”
The appearance not only delighted viewers but also highlighted the family’s strong connections and Lee Seo-jin’s affectionate relationship with Annie and her family.
