On October 27, the YouTube channel Zzanbro released a new episode titled “I Just Love You: Rare Full H.O.T. Videos Now Unleashed.” In the episode, the legendary first-generation K-pop group H.O.T. discussed the viral Netflix project KPop Demon Hunters, which includes the fictional group Saja Boys, widely speculated to be inspired by them.

Shin Dong Yup noted, “When Maggie Kang was living in Canada, she listened to your music and watched your videos, and she got inspiration from that. Isn’t Saja Boys modeled somewhat after H.O.T.?” To which Kangta responded, “You can really see Woo Hyuk and Hee Jun’s style in there.”

While the members joked that Saja Boys’ main vocalist resembled Kangta, he bashfully deflected the compliment, saying, “The character Jinu’s proportions are just too perfect.” Moon Hee Jun chimed in, “When I first saw Kangta, it felt just like watching Saja Boys. That main vocal energy!”

He then shared a story about his 4-year-old son, “My second child is a boy, and he’s been obsessed with Saja Boys for months. After watching an interview, I thought I’d tell him that the group was inspired by the team I debuted in.”

Moon caused laughter as he added, “There’s a character with long hair, so I said, ‘That one’s kind of like Daddy.’ And my son, with this shocked expression, just went, ‘Oh no!’”

His story drew laughter from both fans and fellow members, showing once again Moon Hee Jun’s unique blend of humor and sentiment when it comes to family and his idol legacy.
