Actress Moon Ga-young met with Moon Sang-hoon and had a deep and sincere conversation about herself and acting

On March 12th, Moon Sang-hoon’s YouTube channel uploaded a video titled, “T 100% Waiting for Ms. Mun Ka Young’s empathy that will never come”, featuring the guest appearance of actress Moon Ga-young.

Upon Moon Ga-young’s arrival, Moon Sang-hoon tried to ease the awkward atmosphere between them by giving Moon Ga-young various gifts, ranging from ‘MOON’ decoration props and ballpoint pens. In response, Moon Ga-young took out a book and said, “Before I go, can I get your autograph on the book?”, showing her admiration for Moon Sang-hoon.

Moon Ga-young then shared, “I’ve never got drunk completely. I don’t like getting drunk. Because I started acting early, my role has been taking care of people in the gathering. I’m so used to staying till last and making sure everyone goes home safely”, adding “When I’m alone, I just order some for a simple meal. I don’t have much appetite so when I’m hungry… I like Greek yogurt”.

Moon Ga-young was born to a mother majoring in piano and a father majoring in physics and she spent her childhood in Germany. The actress shared, “In Europe, most places close at 8 or 9 in the evening but everything was so flamboyant in Korea. That was surprising to me. The shiny neon signs were impressive”. Revealing that she can still speak German, Moon Ga-young smiled and said, “When I’m with my sister, we speak in German so we don’t forget. It also comes in handy when we’re in public”.

In addition, Moon Ga-young confessed that she’s not good at refusing others, saying “I’d rather choose to make myself feel uncomfortable than others. I realized that there are times when we need to be able to say no and I’m working on it”.

Regarding her criteria for selecting acting projects, the actress explained, “When I read a script or decide which role to play, I prioritize the characters I understand and get drawn to. When reading a script, I play music that’s in the same tone of the script”

Lastly, she said, “It was my first time shooting for a YouTube content. Thanks to Sang-hoon, I could talk in a comfortable setting. I’d like to see you all again with good news.”
