MONSTA X’s Minhyuk made Kim Young-cheol speechless with his surprise confession “I’ve been dating for 7 years”

Group MONSTA X showed off their 7 years of idol experience.

MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, I.M) appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM’s “Kim Young-cheol’s Power FM” that was broadcast on Nov 23rd. Monsta X has been active for 7 years since their debut in 2015. Through “Kim Young-cheol’s Power FM“, they had time to talk about their past history and activities.

First of all, MONSTA X recalled the time of appearing on the famous British morning news program “Good Morning Britain” in 2019. I.M shared, “It felt different to be on a British morning program that many people watch. It was the first time I tried a British breakfast meal. Besides, native speakers’ pronunciation was different from mine, so I focused when listening to them.”

When asked “Have you dominated the K-pop scene?”, I.M drew favorable responses from members by replying, “Although we can’t call it ‘domination’, we’ve actually left traces in this industry.” After that, DJ Kim Young-cheol threw sharp questions at MONSTA X to test their 7 years of idol experience. He intended to confirm the fact that “Minhyuk is dating” as the first question.

Minhyuk readily replied, “It’s true.” While Kim Young-cheol was speechless, the idol made everyone burst into laughter as he explained, “I’ve been dating Monbebe for 7 years.” When receiving the question “Are you the best singer among idols?”, Kihyun confessed, “I admit it. I think I’m in the top 5.” He then picked EXO’s Baekhyun, Seventeen’s Seungkwan, Seventeen’s DK and MONSTA X’s Joohoney along with himself.

Regarding this, Joohoney responded cutely, “I didn’t think of it at all. It’s great.”
