The story revolves around Kenta Hirono, an ordinary high school student and a huge fan of tokusatsu heroes. His mundane life takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious and beautiful girl named Aoi appears before him, claiming to have escaped from another dimension. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of “Wing-Man,” a revolutionary manga series that shook up “Weekly Shonen Jump” in the 1980s, a live-action drama adaptation titled “DramaTues! Wingman” is set to premiere. In this adaptation, Kenta Hirono, who transforms into “Wing-Man,” will be portrayed by Maito Fujioka as a high school sophomore instead of a middle school student as he was in the original manga. The mysterious girl, Aoi, who comes from the alternate dimension of Podolimus to the three-dimensional world (Earth), will be played by Konatsu Kato.

Additionally, a talented cast including Hina Kikuchi, Hiyori Katada, Amane Uehara, Jotaro Tozuka, Yuno Ohara, Ui Mihara, and Haruki Tachibana has been announced to join Kenta and Aoi in this exciting adventure.

Koji Toba and Shinobu Nakayama will be playing Kenta’s warm and supportive parents, Masamichi and Yoshiko Hirono, respectively. And Daikichi Sugawara will take on the role of the Prime Minister, a pivotal figure in Wing-Man’s battles. Miyano and other cast members have also shared their thoughts on the project.
