On February 24, Minho uploaded a video titled “Meeting Olympic MVP and Double Gold Medalist Kim Gil Li” on his channel. Appearing at a restaurant in Milan, he shared his excitement, saying, “We were supposed to meet two very special guests, but one suddenly felt unwell, so we’re joined by one guest today.”
Soon after, Kim Gil Li, who was selected as Korea’s MVP at the 2026 Winter Olympics, made her entrance with a bright smile. She revealed, “I barely slept. I got in very late last night,” hinting at her busy schedule following her victories.
Minho responded warmly, saying, “I went to watch the 1,500m race in person yesterday. I cheered so loudly my throat almost burst.” He added playfully, “It’s my third day here. On the day I arrived, you won gold in the relay, and yesterday you won another medal. I think I brought you good luck.” Kim Gil Li laughed and replied, “You’re a lucky charm.”
Curious about her now-famous victory celebration, Minho asked about its meaning. Kim explained, “After I first did that celebration, I kept winning first place. It just came out naturally with the vibe.” She even took out her two Olympic gold medals during the meal, earning applause from other diners in the restaurant.
Minho has long been known for his passion for sports. Previously, on MBC’s I Live Alone, he revealed that he had been appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. Last July, he also participated in a triathlon for the first time and ranked within the top 23%, showcasing his impressive athletic ability.
