CEO Min Hee-jin proposed reconciliation to HYBE

On May 31st, at a press conference held at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin addressed her stance on ADOR’s extraordinary shareholders’ meeting and left a message for HYBE.

Min Hee-jin stated, “I hope HYBE understands that NewJeans and I have been sincerely and smoothly executing our plans. I hope a compromise can be reached.”

She continued, “In conflicts, sometimes it’s unclear who or what we’re fighting for. Aren’t we all tired of criticizing and slandering each other? Causality and truth can’t be fully expressed in a few words or lines of an article. Human relationships are complex and challenging, so they can’t be simply described.”

She emphasized, “There’s no need to discuss everything publicly. We need to think about what is more beneficial overall and find a direction that is good for everyone. A corporation should be an organization that moves forward together for the benefit of its shareholders and its business vision. We need to discuss constructively and change the framework. We should set aside emotional aspects and think again about moving forward for everyone’s benefit. That’s the mindset of a manager and the right thing to do as a human being.”

CEO Min Hee-jin added, “I’m not interested in personal gain. I hope to continue with the plans I made with NewJeans, which won’t harm anyone. If I step down, leading to organizational restructuring and NewJeans taking a hiatus, who would benefit from that? I’m suggesting we think about this rationally. Both sides have been emotionally hurt, so let’s stop the endless fighting. Let’s move on to the next chapter for everyone.”
