Oh My Girl member Mimi sparked laughter on the September 14 episode of SBS’s variety show My Little Old Boy when she jokingly “proposed” to Seo Jang Hoon.
Appearing as a special MC, Mimi shared that she has been single her whole life, aside from two short-lived relationships—once in elementary school and another in high school. She recalled that her high school romance lasted just 50 days before ending after she caught her boyfriend cheating. Her elementary school “relationship” ended abruptly when her crush transferred schools. Mimi admitted she hasn’t even had a fling since, joking that the experience made her think, “Maybe all of this is pointless.”
The conversation then turned to her ideal type. Mimi listed her preferences as tall, kind, active, wealthy, inspiring, athletic, considerate toward loved ones, and—most importantly—someone without bad breath. Hearing this, Shin Dong Yup teased that Seo Jang Hoon perfectly fit her description. Mimi then playfully turned to him and said, “Would you marry me?” causing the studio to erupt in laughter.
