On September 22 (local time), the New York Post and other international outlets reported that Heslin’s husband, Scotty Dynamo, recently filed a “wrongful death” lawsuit in Clark County District Court against a Las Vegas hotel restaurant.

According to the lawsuit, when Heslin collapsed from cardiac arrest during his 35th birthday celebration at the restaurant, staff failed to administer any emergency aid. The family alleges that a female guest attempted to perform CPR but was stopped by employees, who also failed to use an on-site automated external defibrillator (AED). Staff reportedly even demanded that bystanders delete footage of the incident.
