Meghan was born in Massachusetts, USA, to parents who work as jewelers. She lives with her parents, older brother Ryan, and younger brother Justin. She started singing in a church’s choir at the age of 6.

Meghan has shown potential for music since as early as 11 years old, when she started learning to play music instruments and writing song lyrics. By the age of 13, her first song, “Give Me A Chance”, was created.
Then, Meghan learned guitar from Johnny Spaminato, a former member of rock band NRBQ, and officially started to become a singer-songwriter under Big Yellow Dog.

Personal life

As a result, she had to undergo a complete vocal rest, and receive surgery to fix the health issue. She also suffered from crippling panic disorder, anxiety and depression, to the point she could only converse with people via text messages.
According to Meghan, it was her family and her husband, Daryl Sabara, who motivated her and helped her pull through these adversity. Now, the singer-songwriter is living her best life with the people she loves while releasing the music she loves, without caring about the burden of success.
