Media’s Attempt to Criticize Hyeri Backfires Against Ryu Jun-yeol
The suspicion surrounding Hyeri, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Han So-hee's “transit love" drama seems to be far from being over.
On March 21, an interview with acquaintances who have observed Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol’s relationship for a long time was revealed.
This interview of insiders attempted to criticize Hyeri, claiming that she knew a breakup was upcoming, as well as defended Ryu Jun-yeol.
It also tried to defend Ryu Jun-yeol, allegedly that by no means did Ryu Jun-yeol develop a new relationship with Han So-hee without clearly breaking up with Hyeri.
However, although the interview was allegedly conducted with so-called close acquaintances of Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri, it cannot erase the impression of representing and defending Ryu Jun-yeol while trying to draw criticisms towards Hyeri.
As a result, a controversy arises over this “attempt to criticize Hyeri”, with reactions mostly backfiring against Ryu Jun-yeol. Comments such as “On what basis does the acquaintance attack Hyeri?”, “Even if they met once last year, it was before the breakup”, “The more Ryu Jun-yeol tries to defend, the more he becomes unlikable,” and “Isn’t the acquaintance just speculating in the end?” and so on, can be found all over Korean forums.
