mc mong gambling allegations

During a TikTok livestream on May 18, MC Mong claimed that several individuals, including entertainment industry figures, were allegedly participating in regular gambling sessions involving hundreds of millions of won.

The singer specifically mentioned businessman Cha Ga Won’s uncle as well as a former agency representative connected to singer Kim Ho Joong, claiming they were members of what he described as a “Baduki gambling group.”

“I spent five months investigating them,” MC Mong alleged during the broadcast. “They start with 100 million won and end up gambling tens of billions. They move around bars twice a week doing this.”

The controversy intensified after MC Mong unexpectedly mentioned veteran entertainer Kim Min Jong by name.

According to MC Mong, women who accompanied members of the alleged gambling group to Japan were reportedly given tips worth approximately 10 million KRW each.

“There’s a celebrity who received tips there,” he claimed before naming Kim Min Jong.

MC Mong further alleged that he possesses recordings, messages, and testimonies related to the claims.

“I have recordings, reports, and text messages from the women involved and even their friends,” he stated. “Sue me for defamation. If you do, I’ll reveal the messages exactly as they are.”

The rapper also claimed that two additional celebrities were allegedly connected to the situation.

“There are two more celebrities,” he said. “One is a very active MC, and another is a major star. There’s also that star’s uncle.”

He repeatedly challenged the individuals involved to take legal action against him, insisting that he had secured testimony and evidence from witnesses.

However, the allegations currently remain one-sided claims made by MC Mong during the livestream, and none of the individuals mentioned have publicly responded to the accusations as of now. No independent verification regarding the alleged gambling activities or evidence has been released publicly.

The livestream has rapidly gone viral online, with Korean netizens expressing shock over the direct naming of public figures and the increasingly explosive nature of MC Mong’s recent broadcasts.
