The cast of MBC’s ‘The Red Sleeve’ will greet the viewers again during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The most successful drama of MBC in 2021, ‘The Red Sleeve‘ has delivered good news to the fans.
SPOTVNEWS reported on January 21, “The special episode for ‘The Red Sleeve’ of MBC’s talk show ‘Radio Star’ will be broadcast over two weeks from January 26 to February 2.”
The two leading actors Lee Jun-ho and Lee Se-young as well as other cast members will reportedly appear in the broadcast. In particular, Lee Jun-ho is said to have fulfilled his promise in the past.
Specifically, in his previous appearance on ‘Radio Star‘, Lee Jun-ho made a promise that if the ratings of ‘The Red Sleeve‘ exceeded 15%, he would show up on ‘Radio Star’ again, wearing his King costume in the drama while dancing to 2PM’s ‘My House‘.
Historical drama ‘The Red Sleeve‘ drew great popularity as it depicts the emotional romance between Seong Deok-im (Lee Se-young), a court lady who wants to live life the way she wants, and Yi San/King Jeong-jo (Lee Jun-ho), who prioritizes the country over love.
The last episode of ‘The Red Sleeve‘ aired on the first day of 2022, recorded its highest rating of 17.4% (according to Nielsen Korea).
