Chinese model-actress Mavis Pan, once dubbed the “Sex Bomb of C-ent” and “Little Shu Qi,” has reignited controversy after posting provocative bedroom photos online and allegedly threatening to release six explicit videos of her former boyfriend, actor Raymond Lam.
Born in 1987 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Mavis entered the entertainment scene at 21 as a lingerie model. With her seductive curves and resemblance to actress Shu Qi, she quickly rose to fame, often taking on bold photoshoots to gain public attention. However, her real notoriety began with her scandalous romance and bitter breakup with TVB star Raymond Lam.

Mavis and Raymond met while filming Emerald Pearl (2010) and dated briefly before breaking up. Their split became one of Hong Kong’s most talked-about scandals when a Hong Kong magazine published their leaked bedroom photos.
At the time, Raymond Lam was TVB’s golden boy, leading hit dramas in prime time. The leak destroyed his clean image, sparking a media storm. Later, Mavis admitted she was the one who sold the intimate photos, claiming she wanted revenge for his betrayal.
“Raymond lied to me. He said he loved me, but I was just a toy. When I found out he was messaging other women, I lost control and sent our photos to the media,” she confessed.

Raymond Lam, devastated, broke down in tears at a press conference. “I don’t care if I lose my career I just feel ashamed for my parents,” he said. The actor reportedly fell into depression and withdrew from the spotlight for months.
Years after the scandal, both seemed to have moved on until 2020, when Mavis Pan shocked netizens again. She claimed to possess six private videos of Raymond Lam and warned that she might release them if he “didn’t behave.”

“If I were as smart as Zhou Yangqing (Show Lo’s ex-girlfriend who exposed his affairs), my life would be different. The things I know about my ex are crazier than any movie. I have six videos if I release them, that scumbag will never recover,” she wrote online.
Raymond responded through legal representatives, threatening to sue if Mavis published any private material. Social media users condemned her threats, calling them vindictive and unethical.

When asked why she couldn’t let go of the past, Mavis replied simply: “I’ll hate him for life.”
Public outrage over her revenge tactics led to a swift downfall. Brands and film producers cut ties, contracts were canceled, and her career collapsed overnight. Shunned by the industry, Mavis withdrew from public life and now lives quietly with her family.
To this day, she remains single a shadow of the once-rising “sex bomb” who became infamous for turning heartbreak into vengeance.
