“Master in the House” sets a new milestone: New cast member joins + The first variety show in history to visit the Blue House 

The Blue House will be introduced for the first time through “Master in the House”.

SBS’s “Master in the House” was the first entertainment show to rent the entire Blue House for their recording. The episode will be broadcast on July 3rd.

The members of “Master in the House”, including Lee Seung-gi, Yang Se-hyung, Kim Dong-hyun, Eun Ji-won and NCT’s Do-young, visited the Blue House, which was open for recording for the first time in 74 years. In addition, historian Shim Yong-hwan also appeared to give useful explanations about the Blue House, from its history to its symbol. 

Entering the main building of the Blue House, the members couldn’t hold their excitement. They exclaimed, “‘Master in the House’ has come to the ‘Best House’”. It is said that they were really amazed when they saw the portraits of former presidents in the Sejong Room, which will be revealed on the broadcast for the first time. 

In 2021, “Master in the House” was the first entertainment show to rent the entire Gyeongbukgung Palace for their shooting and drew keen attention by introducing places that visitors could not enter easily, such as inside the Geunjeongjeon Main Hall and the second floor of Gyeonghoeru.

Following Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Blue House, which will be unveiled for the first time in the entertainment show “Master in the House”, is raising the viewers’ curiosity.

“Master in the House” recently welcomed NCT’s Do-young as the new member to replace Yoo Su-bin. When the news of the new cast member was reported, netizens on online communities poured out cheers and supportive messages for the decision of “Master in the House” production team.

Meanwhile, “Master in the House” airs every Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
