“Mask Girl” Kim Momi’s dance stand-in Zizian “I lost 4kg in 3 months, Kim Wan Sun is amazing”

The dance stand-in for the role of Kim Momi in Netflix’s original series “Mask Girl” (directed by Kim Young Hoon) was revealed.

Mask Girl” depicts the story of Kim Momi (Lee Han Byeol/Go Hyun Jung/Nana), an office worker who is insecure about her looks. She becomes a masked internet personality by night — until a chain of unexpected, ill-fated events overtakes her life.

Wearing a mask and showing off her splendid dance skills to Kim Wan Sun’s “Dancing to Rhythm”, Kim Momi left a deep impression in contrast to her usual appearance at work.

After the release of the work, the interest in Kim Momi’s dance skills increased. The person in charge of Kim Momi’s dance part was model Zizian.

On August 20th, Zizian uploaded several photos along with a long post that began with, “I started practicing choreography in January last year and finally filmed in August last year as the dance stand-in for ‘Mask Girl’ Momi.

She continued, “I had a lot of experiences last year. While memorizing and practicing this choreography for the first time, I thought senior Kim Wan Sun was a great and amazing singer as the performance of the song ‘Dancing to Rhythm’ was extremely difficult.”

She confessed, “I still vividly remember practicing 2~3 hours a day, 3~4 times a week with Han Byeol and YGX’s Heeyeon until March. The whole song didn’t come out in the drama, so it didn’t look that hard, but if you dance to the whole song once, you’ll be drenched in sweat. I often fell down on the floor of the practice room and gasped like a paper doll.”

She added, “I lost 3~4kg and my face was like a skull. Now, my weight has returned to its original state, but my breast and face fat aren’t returning easily.” She also thanked the production team, Kim Heeyeon, who was in charge of choreography, and Lee Han Byeol, who played Kim Momi.

Meanwhile, “Mask Girl”, which was unveiled on August 18th, ranked 5th worldwide and 1st in 7 countries, including Korea, Indonesia and Japan (according to the OTT viewership statistics site FlixPatrol).
