“Marry My Husband” Song Ha-yoon’s filmography: From Joo Oh-wol in “My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol”, Sera Park in “Band of Sisters” to adulteress Jung Soo-min

In the currently airing tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband” (written by Shin Yoo-dam, directed by Park Won-guk and Han Jin-seon, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by DK E&M), Song Ha-yoon plays the role of “Jung Soo-min”, who is entangled in a bitter fate with her best friend Kang Ji-won (played by Park Min-young). She effectively portrays Soo-min, who transitions from an anger-inducing figure to someone now swaying under Ji-won’s relentless revenge.

Debuting as a magazine model during high school days, Song Ha-yoon began her acting career in earnest with MBC’s “Taereung National Village” in 2005. Her turning point as an actress came when she played Joo Oh-wol in MBC’s “My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol” in 2015.

In the same year, in KBS2’s “Fight for My Way”, she played the lovely lover “Baek Seol-hee”, showing the reality of a long-lasting couple and leading viewers’ empathy. Baek Seol-hee in “Fight for My Way” is also considered one of Song Ha-yoon’s representative characters.

Song Ha-yoon expanded her spectrum with villainous acting in “Marry My Husband”. Of course, this is not her first time playing a villain.

In 2017, Song Ha-yoon played the role of Sera Park in SBS’s “Band of Sisters”, demonstrating her villainous acting skills. Thanks to her connection with Kim Soon-ok, the writer of “My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol”, Song Ha-yoon was cast in a special appearance as Sera Park, opposite Joo Oh-wol in a 180-degree turn. This could be considered the beginning of Song Ha-yoon’s history of villainous acting.

However, considering that Sera Park was a special appearance that was suddenly faced with a plant person ending at the time, Song Ha-yoon’s portrayal of Jung Soo-min in “Marry My Husband” can be considered a proper showcase of her villainous acting. Song Ha-yoon’s career takes another upward turn with the role of the adulteress Soo-min. The impending doom of Soo-min’s fate is also eagerly awaited.
