“Marry My Husband” Lee Gi-kwang Explains Controversy Over Terrible Acting “I Even Broke Out In A Cold Sweat”
SBS's "Strong Heart VS" captivated young viewers and secured the top spot in the entertainment category during the same time slot
The Feb 27th broadcast of “Strong Heart VS” recorded a 2049 (viewers aged 20~49) rating of 1.1% (based on Nielsen Korea, metropolitan households), making it the highest-rated entertainment program broadcast during the same time slot, including terrestrial, cable and satellite channels. In particular, the episode of Lee Gi-kwang, who is popular for his role in the hit drama “Marry My Husband”, achieved the highest rating of 3.2%, marking the “Best 1 Minute” of the show.
The broadcast was themed as “Those Who Cross the Line” and featured space planning expert Yoo Jung-soo, former announcer-actress Oh Jung-yeon, Lee Gi-kwang, Jang Ye-won and comedian Kang Jae-joon.
Lee Gi-kwang, who rose to fame with “Marry My Husband”, revealed a drama episode. Lee Gi-kwang confessed, “We filmed the confession scene at Cheonggyecheon in the evening. Although it was a drama, shouting out a confession itself felt awkward. I even broke out in a cold sweat. It wasn’t easy to act in dialect, no matter how much I practiced. Since my hometown is Gwangju, Jeolla-do, it was difficult and peculiar.“
