Korean netizens have demanded that Hwang Jae Gyun pay more taxes due to being able to marry T-ARA Jiyeon.
On June 4th, Hwang Jae Gyun posted a short video with the caption, “Why do you lift the same weight as me?”
In the video, Hwang Jae Gyun’s wife, Jiyeon, can be seen pulling 290 pounds (approximately 132 kg) of weight with her thighs, which surprised many viewers.
Following Jiyeon, Hwang Jae Gyun also performed lower body strength exercises with relative ease, causing laughter.
Seeing the sweet daily life of Hwang Jae Gyun with his beautiful wife, Korean netizens jokingly left comments such as, “Hwang Jae Gyun, the taxes you pay are probably not enough, they should be doubled”, and “Hwang Jae Gyun, you should pay more taxes because you’re doing well”, among others.
Meanwhile, singer and actress Jiyeon, a member of girl group T-ARA, married Hwang Jae Gyun in December. Recently, it became a hot topic after their honeymoon house was reported to be worth around 7 billion won (around 5.4 million USD).
On the other hand, Hwang Jae Gyun returned to the first division with a match between Doosan and KT in Suwon on June 3rd. He played as the starting third baseman that day.
