MAMAMOO Hwasa ranked No.3 in Star Ranking for Female Idols, proving her unrivaled popularity
MAMAMOO Hwasa won 3rd place in the female idol category of Star Ranking.
The 8th round of Star Idol’s Female Category, which was held from 3:01 P.M on December 16th to 3 P.M on December 23rd revealed Wheein in 2nd place with a total of 2,584 votes. As a result, two of MAMAMOO members ranked on top of the Star Idol vote, proving their unrivaled popularity.
The No.1 Karina (7400 votes), No.2 Wheein (6003 votes), and No.3 Hwasa are followed by No.4 MAMAMOO Solar (1838 votes), No. 5 MAMAMOO Moonbyul (988 votes), No.6 Red Velvet Yeri (383 votes), No.7 BLACKPINK Jennie (330 votes), No.8 aespa Winter (308 votes), No.9 BLACKPINK Lisa (305 votes), and No.10 CLC Choi Yu-jin (234 votes).
Hwasa debuted in 2014 with MAMAMOO‘s album “Don’t Be Happy“. Since then, MAMAMOO has been standing tall as a national girl group by releasing a number of hits such as “Um Oh Ah Yeh”, “Yes I am”… Hwasa also actively worked as a solo singer through “TWIT“.
Meanwhile, Star Ranking is a ranking vote in which fans directly vote for their favorite stars to determine their rankings. Various privileges are provided to stars depending on the voting result ranking. The star selected as No.1 for four weeks in a row will be featured in an outdoor billboard advertisement.
Star Ranking, in which fans vote for their favorite stars, can be voted on Star News‘ website. The 9th round of voting will be held from 3:01 PM on December 23 to 3 PM on December 30.
